This Project
In this project, we learned about how drones fly, the pros and cons of drones in society, trigonometry with drones, the history of air power, and how to build and repair drones. We were able to learn extensively on all of these topics because we worked hands on with drones, we took a trip to the Midway and learned from multiple visitors from the Midway, we also worked with professional drone experts from a handful of million dollar companies. We took away real life skills from this project that we will be able to apply to our lives outside school.
The Physics In This Project
I was in the troubleshooting and IT Drone repair station for exhibition, which means I was able to dive deeper into the technicals of how a drone works and flies. I learned about trigonometry and how it applies to the drones we are using throughout this project. I also learned how to build and fix a drone when it breaks, or something wasn't working right. Ironically, my group was the group that had the most technical difficulties when we were preparing for exhibition. We spent so much time charging our drones, replacing parts, and taking apart the drones then putting it back together. This really helped us become experts on troubleshooting and repairing our drones.

Reflection
I am most proud of what I was able to take away from this project. It didn't feel like I was learning too much at the time, but during exhibition and even after the project , I realized that I have grown so much as a leader, and a learner. I loved being able to talk on and on about how we fixed the drones in the project and all of the behind the scenes work we did to complete our drone mission and drone video. If there was one thing I would change, it would be my time management and the order of operations we used to complete our work before exhibition. I would have taken more time to understand everyone's learning styles and the best motivation for them as well. I would also have distributed the tasks better and made sure everyone was taking some part in the final result. Overall, as an individual I feel like my personal growth as a student completely outweighed the struggles in this project.
