What It means to be curious
To be curious in physics is to have a passion to learn and to be open to a growth mindset, which means to not be afraid to make mistakes. Physics is a really complex field and to be able to teach it well, is a really big feat. People either love physics or hate physics, and most times it is because of the teacher. I was lucky enough to have a teacher who cares enough about the students to make sure they understand. I became even more science curious because of my teacher. She inspires me to ask more questions and to not give up when things get hard.
Perspective
My perspective on science has changed so much since the beginning of the year. I used to think that science was something really complicated and you had to be really good at math. I started the year with this mindset and I think this prevented me from achieving my full potential as soon as I should have in the year. My outlook on science has improved for the better and I know I will always strive to ask questions and be a curious learner.
This worksheet was one of the hardest things I did in physics this year. We had to complete 100 trigonometry problems in about a week. I had a hard time completing the first page and that really discouraged me. I lugged through the second page and then something clicked. I was able to complete the rest of the packet with ease.
