1) Describe your scientific/ creative process to develop drawing skills to create your anatomical drawings
My process was essentially just taking my time. I struggled with patience and allowing myself to slow down. I wanted these anatomical drawings to be something I am proud of, so slowing down when drawing and going through multiple critiques with my peers really helped me make these pieces what they are.
2) What did you learn about the scientific process through the creative process?
I learned that the scientific process is fueled by creativity and curiosity. To propose a hypothesis, you need to have an interesting and relevant idea. This comes from the curiosity in ways to help make the world a better place.
3) What challenges did you encounter in creating your best work?
The biggest challenge was creating value and making the shading realistic. I added shading very slowly and lightly because I did not want to overdo it and make it darker than It needed to be.
4) What are you most proud of in creating your best work?
I am most proud of the time I took to be detail oriented. I usually rush anything to do with art to get it over with but I wanted these drawings to be the best work I could produce.
